In a way, I agree with this statement – but if you have a choice where you can have both, logic and feeling, that is the way forward.
But if you have a logical mind and are purely logical, you will have to be careful not to become like a robot. You will look at areas within your life, you will analyse, you will see the best way forward, you will see this is what is best for me. Not taking any consideration at all, of other people’s feelings. So, a logical mind, without taking into consideration the feelings of others can make us a negative person.
So, what must we do? How do we achieve both?
How do we achieve logic and feeling?
You see to me; logic and feeling is rather like a desert. Logic is like the desert, where nothing grows, and the sun is constant. But if we add feeling to it, it is like we allow the rains to come, so we can use the power of the sun and its heat so when the rains come, things start to grow. This is like our self, if we can use logic and feeling, we grow.
When we look at life, sometimes, the logical mind will say “I know what love is” and it will come up with all sorts of scenarios or speak to you in certain ways, which try and convince you what love is. But unless you experience love, you will never know what love is.
Unless you experience many things in life, you will never truly know what life is, you will never truly understand life. So, feeling, or having feelings is to immerse yourself in what life brings your way. Feeling vulnerable sometimes, taking a chance. In a way, it is exposing ourselves to feel. But a person that purely has a logical mind and does not feel, is not living. The person who feels and takes that risk is living life to the full.
Your choice, but personally, I would go for feelings.
